Start with the right design
Only faces marked Animated in the Astra collection include animation. Make sure the installed edition and your model support the behavior you expect.
Wake the display
On Hyperdrive, the animation plays when the watch wakes after a wrist gesture. Lowering your wrist puts the display into a quieter state. AMOLED always-on is not a continuously playing animation.
Check the animation setting
Hyperdrive offers On wake and Off in Free. Pro also offers Continuous while the display is awake. Other faces have their own settings, so check their individual Connect IQ descriptions.
If it still does not move
Confirm that animation is enabled, the watch is synced and the expected edition is selected. Send the studio your face name, edition, exact watch model and a description of what happens.
