Awake and always-on are different
An animated face can move while the watch is awake and use a still or simplified view when it rests. Hyperdrive keeps time and outlines in its AMOLED always-on view and shifts elements each minute.
Choose the animation you need
If your edition includes an animation control, try its wake-only or off setting. Continuous mode means continuous while the display is awake, not unrestricted animation with your wrist down.
Avoid a one-size-fits-all battery promise
Battery use varies with your watch, display settings and how you use it. Astra does not publish a universal battery-life figure for all models. Compare settings on your own watch and consult its manual.
